What follows is a fast-paced\, laugh-out-loud adventure packed with toe-tapping hits\, larger-than-life performances and one of the most iconic creations in musical theatre history\, Audrey II. \nWhether you’re a lifelong fan or discovering the show for the first time\, this production is set to be a highlight at the Athenæum this summer. \nJust remember: whatever they offer you\, don’t feed the plants! \nPlease Note: This performance contains mild language\, mild peril\, flashing lights\, haze\, and surprisingly sexy dentistry! \n_ \nBased on the film by Roger Corman\, Screenplay by Charles Griffith. Over the years he has appeared on numerous TV and radio programmes including Have I Got News For You\, The Royal Variety Performance\, and The Brian Conley Show\, and has also enjoyed a long-running career on BBC Radio 4. As well as his stand-up\, Dominic is a successful author and newspaper columnist\, with his witty and insightful style making him a firm favourite with comedy audiences. \nJoining him on the bill is the excellent Justin Panks\, a fast-rising comedian known for his confident stage presence and punchy\, relatable material. With a warm delivery and a knack for finding big laughs in everyday situations\, Justin is quickly becoming a name to watch on the UK comedy circuit. \nThis is a mixed-bill comedy night\, giving you the full comedy club experience with multiple comedians and a host guiding the evening.
