Centre Stage perform

Classes in Ballet, Modern, Tap, Street/Hip Hop and Musical Theatre for all ages. CSP teaches the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (I.S.T.D) syllabus. Located in the Studios behind the Athenæum.

Wunder School of Music

A vibrant music school that offers piano lessons to students ranging from 5 years old to adults. Providing 36 lessons each academic year, which are scheduled on the same day and time every week from September to July. The name Wunder School, inspired by the German word “Wunderkind”, means a person with exceptional talent and brilliance, particularly in music, from a young age!

Athenæum Limelight Players

Athenæum Limelight Players (aka ALPs) are a resident drama group dating back to 1969, performing plays from comedies and family favourites, through to classic murder mysteries. We also run a programme of social events, quiz nights, soup and pudding evenings, rehearsed readings and there are opportunities to write small scenes and short plays for interactive drama evenings. we are a diverse group, welcoming all ages, genders and abilities.

Oddity Theatre

A community theatre company that warmly welcomes amateur performers (and retiring professionals!), backstage crew and creatives to join in and produce engaging, high-quality musicals and pantomimes on the Athenæum Stage.  An inclusive company, with no membership or participation fees, allowing everyone to come together and showcase their talents in a vibrant and supportive community environment. 

Warminster and District Film Society

Warminster and District Film Society shows 16 films in a year. We select a range of films from recent releases to foreign language. Membership entitles you to see all the films in a (6-month) season with no need to book. Non-members can also book tickets for any film.

Food Bank Warminster

Warminster and District Foodbank is an independent community Foodbank staffed entirely by volunteers providing emergency food and support to families and others in need within the community of Warminster and district. Our Foodbank works in partnership throughout our area with other Charities, health, social services, housing and education services who refer clients for food assistance.

Imperial Charity

Imperial Charity enriches the lives of senior citizens and people of all ages with special needs, across Wiltshire. We raise funds selling pre-loved clothing, bric-a-brac, furniture and white goods from two shops in Westbury. These funds are used to provide grants to Special Educational Needs (SEND) schools, subsidise coach trips and provide entertainers for charities such as Alzheimer’s Support.

Little Sparrows

The Little Sparrows Theatre Company is the production company of the Sheila Toomey Award. It is named after one of the Trust’s founding members, whose maiden name was Sparrow. We support and produce shows to raise funds for the Award.

Sheila Toomey Award

The Sheila Toomey Award is granted annually to financially assist students with exceptional talent who wish to pursue a career in the fields of Art, Dance, or Drama. Students of Music can secure an award from our sister charity – The Brickhill Music Fund – administered by The Sheila Toomey Award.

The Chat Café - Open Door, Warminster

Open Door is a volunteer group supporting the residents of Warminster and the surrounding villages. We aim to create opportunities for people who were feeling isolated or excluded from society by running weekly drop-in Chat Cafés for friendship and grief or cancer support.

Warminster Information

The Athenæum Box Office and Information Centre is open Monday to Saturday 10.30am – 1:00pm. Information is available for a range of local events and organisations, there is often a art display of local talent, and tickets are available to purchase for shows and other local events.
