Written by Alan Bennett. As World War I rages on, the controversial Dr. Henry Guthrie (Ralph Fiennes) takes over a British choral Society in Ramsden, Yorkshire that’s lost most of its men to the army. Recruiting teenagers, the community soon discovers that the best response to the chaos of war is to make beautiful music together.
