As World War I rages on, the controversial Dr. Guthrie (Ralph Fiennes) takes over a choral Society in Ramsden, Yorkshire that’s lost most of its men to the army. Recruiting teenagers, the community soon discovers that the best response to the chaos of war is to make beautiful music together.

Based on a true story, this film is a moving, uplifting account of the life of John Davidson (Robert Aramayo), a Tourette’s syndrome campaigner who grew up with the condition in 1980s Scotland, at a time when it was little known and misunderstood.
